Quite time: 10 pm to 8 am. Please limit your outdoor activities during this time, as to not disturb our wonderful and very friendly neighbors.
No parties or events.
ABSOLUTELY NO FIRE PITS OR OPEN FLAMES OF ANY KIND. We live in a very high fire danger area. Lighting a fire will be cause for your reservation to be canceled.
No persons not listed in your reservation are allowed to be on the property at any time.
Please be sure to wash and put away all dishes used.
Please leave any beds used unmade and do not strip linens.
Please be sure to place all soiled towels in Laundry room in a pile.
During your stay and because of the presence of wild animals, which can include bears, please keep all food and trash either in the house or in the provided trash can at the beck of the property.
Because we live in a very beautiful and remote area of nature, please be sure to remove all trash before you leave and store in the trash area provided.
No Smoking
No BB guns, Air soft guns, or pellet guns discharged on or near the property at any time.
We do have a propane BBQ. Please be sure to clean the grill after each use.
The Sequoia National Forest, which includes this area, has two rules: No smoking, open flame without a shut off valve, and no glass near the river.
Lastly, come and unpack, unwind, and enjoy your stay in our family home.

Our family home is listed in a beautiful and very quiet neighborhood with AMAZING mountain views. Sit on the deck and be sure to keep an eye out for the beautiful dear that frequent the neighborhood and property.

⭐ The Pacific Crest Trail is right down the road.
⭐ The Kern River Brewery is in town and has some amazing beer - try the Sequoia Red!
⭐ A short hike to a small falls over smooth rock that you can slide down.
⭐ The Trail of 100 Giants is 30 minutes up the road.
⭐ Alta Sierra, the local ski resort, is less than thirty minutes away and is very fun * in the winter.

This Airbnb was absolutely beautiful! Accommodated my large group, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Very peaceful and spacious. Although we didn’t spend a ton of time at the Airbnb, it was the perfect place to come back to after a long day! Would highly recommend to everyone and would book again. Thank you so much!

Absolutely amazing stay! This home exceeded our expectations in every way. It was beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a perfect family getaway. One of our favorite moments was enjoying coffee on the deck while watching deer nearby—such a peaceful and special experience.
There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and play, which made it ideal for our family. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making this home comfortable and welcoming.
The only minor note is that the patio furniture cushions had some large holes, so we weren’t able to use them—but it truly didn’t take away from our experience at all.
We would absolutely love to come back and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay!

This is the perfect home for a family trip! It is extremely clean, a big kitchen that everyone can cook and hangout together in! The room separation was amazing, the game room was so much fun, it had everything you would want for a family trip!

Christine and andrew were amazing on making my husband mini gateway very special and we felt very welcoming since the very beginning. We decided to book an extra night because of how wonderful of a host she was and attentive. We loved how peaceful the neighborhood felt and at home my family was away from home.
Find us
Enjoy plenty of parking in the paved driveway, or along the street. Bring your bikes for a beautiful ride into the heart of Kernville, or the many trails in the surrounding areas. All the roadways are paved and can be accessed with ease.
Please be sure not to block the neighbors driveway during your stay.
